The mission shaped ministry course is a one-year, part-time course which takes you on a learning journey as part of a supportive community, training you for ministry in fresh expressions of church.
Pioneer School (Centre for Pioneer Learning)
A unique school for pioneers in ministry, organised by the Centre for Pioneer Learning and the Cambridge Centre for Youth Ministry.
Pioneer School is designed for pioneers who want both input and support for their ministries and takes place over six saturdays at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, each one resourcing and supporting you in your ministry.
Due to the character of the School, it is not possible to sign up for single sessions; you need to commit yourself to the whole process.

Pioneer Mission Leadership Training (CMS)
CMS have trained leaders in cross-cultural mission for years and pioneering is one of their core values. So it was no surprise when the church knocked on their door to ask if they could help design training for pioneers in mission in the UK.
There are a number of ways you can engage with training with CMS:
- by choosing individual modules tailored to your needs – for example mission entrepreneurship or cross cultural skills;
- by doing a certificate in pioneer ministry;
- by doing a foundation degree in pioneer ministry;
- by doing an MA.
All the training is 'on the job', so you remain in a pioneering context and train as you pioneer, and only for people pioneering in mission – so you get to be with like-minded people which makes for a brilliant learning community.
The course leader is Jonny Baker and the team all have experience in pioneering mission.
Leadership Training (One Rock)
One Rock support spiritual leaders to fulfil God's vision for their lives, through spiritual formation, discerning vision, leadership skills and mission skills. They offer seminars and workshop days as well as longer retreats to train people for spiritual leadership.
Growing Leaders Course (CPAS)
This course is availabe as a pack of material, with a training day for those who want to run it in their local situation.
