Saltley Trust Event: “What Helps Disciples Grow?” – Celebration and Exploration Event

For the last year, we’ve been working with churches across the region to find out how Christians talk about their own calling, growth and journeys of faith. We’ve surveyed over 1300 individuals in around 30 churches of different denominations.

In April we will be celebrating this work with an event. This is your opportunity to:

  • learn from and reflect on our research and allied work
  • explore the implications and possibilities for individuals and the churches or networks they belong to
  • consider next steps, for practice and research

Input will be provided by:

  • The Revd Canon Professor Leslie J Francis, What helps disciples grow?
  • Andrew Roberts, Holy Habits—the journey of the Methodist Church into revitalising Christian practices.
  • Rev’d Andy Delmege, Jesus Shaped People—forming communities without academic culture.”

The event will take place in Birmingham city centre. It will be open to all but priority booking will be given to the churches and networks that have supported us in the research.

Note – this is an event with a difference… please make every effort to attend the whole day!
